Today the CSGA held it’s last event for the 2019 calendar and that was the much sought after Glenda Best Jug.  This event is played using  the Canadian Foursomes format with the best nett garnering the Glenda Best Jug.  The event is used to raised moneys for various charities and the host club nominates its charity.  Pegasus was the charity of choice for Fairbairn with a ‘horse / racing’ theme for the dress ups.  As you will see from the photos the best dress was keenly contested.  Now the winners pictured are           Mary-Ann Wall and Onu Palm (both from Fairbairn) with a nett 681/2.  A wee bit of local knowledge me thinks was helpful.  Nett runners up were Robyn Attewell and Linday Dunn (Royal Canberra) with a nett 751/2.  Third runners up were Paula Anderson (Gold Creek) and Dawn Manning (Royal Canberra) with a nett 763/4.
Best Gross for the day was Wendy Lynch and Cathryn Husdell with 85.  Gross runners up were Fran Miller and Pauline Jeffery (all from Queanbeyan) with 87.  All in all a fun filled day and starting at 8.30 pm shotgun start enabled us to beat the heat of the day.  Congratulations to all.
