Well Ladies we are coming to the ‘pointy’ end of the Pennant Season. Bruce Cup done and dusted, CSGA Plate and Bronze Shield done and dusted with Brindabella Shield doing battle as I type!!!
The day was held at Gold Creek Country Club commence at 8.00 am!!!! It was very foggy (as evidence in the photo) and cold to say the least, however the teams were all in great spirits and anticipation of the days battle. The Royal team were leading their matches near the half way mark but in the second nine, Yowani clawed their way back from being down and eventually won the day. It seems that Yowani has not won the Bronze Shield for some time and were very ‘hungry’ to acquire it. Yowani won the event 3/2 however it was a great tussle.
