CSGA JUNIOR GIRLS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE<\/h4>\n

CSGA Policy<\/h4>\n

The CSGA maintains funding for junior girls golfing activities, funding may be provided to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. assist individual golfers meet expenses for approved activities, and<\/li>\n
  2. provide golf clinics and activities for junior girls and pre-junior girls.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requests for Assistance<\/h4>\n

    All requests for financial assistance must be received by the CSGA Secretary for committee approval prior to the event.<\/p>\n

    OPTIONS
    \nIndividual Expenses<\/h4>\n

    The CSGA will fund one third (1\/3) of expenses to individual girls who are members of a CSGA district club for approved activities. Expenses are limited to:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. cost of entry to a camp\/clinic\/tournament<\/li>\n
    2. cost of transport by bus\/rail or a petrol allowance for private car to\/from the venue<\/li>\n
    3. cost of accommodation if not provided by the responsible organisation (Note this will only be paid in exceptional circumstances), and<\/li>\n
    4. cost of uniform, if applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Receipts to be provided to the CSGA Secretary for reimbursement.<\/p>\n

      CSGA funding of one third (1\/3) of the expenses is based on a philosophy that the junior’s club will contribute (1\/3) and her family (1\/3).<\/p>\n

      In cases of extreme hardship, the CSGA may provide additional funding. This is subject to a recommendation by the junior’s club and approval by the CSGA Committee.<\/p>\n

      The CSGA will on application consider paying one half (1\/2) of the joining fee for the first year to the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation (JNJGF) to encourage junior girls.<\/p>\n

      Local Clinics\/Camps<\/h4>\n

      The cost of a teaching professional may be met by the CSGA for both club and district level clinics. Clinics organised by clubs and funded by the CSGA must be open to all district juniors and prior approval is required.<\/p>\n

      Golf NSW and JNJGF Camps funding may be provided by the CSGA on the same basis as individual expenses.<\/p>\n
