The Annual Vets day at Goulburn was held last Friday.\u00a0 It was changed to a Friday to see if this suited more players than on the usual Monday.\u00a0 The day started in Canberra at 2 degrees with a very thick fog.\u00a0 Arriving at Goulburn the fog wss still ‘loitering’ and kept it quite chilly for the start.\u00a0 This was a shotgun start and the field got away promptly in the fog.\u00a0 However after a few holes – the fog left – and the day was very sunny and comfortable to play golf.\u00a0 The field moved nicely and players came in to a very nice lunch.\u00a0 So the winner of the H K Smith Trophy – bet score over all three grades was Lynette Hatton from Moss Vale with 40 pts!\u00a0 Great golfing Ladies.
