The <\/span>Bruce Cup final was held at Gold Creek which began with a beautiful Canberra morning for the battle <\/span>between Federal and Murrumbidgee for this <\/span>prestigious Cup.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Both teams arrived at Gold Creek pumped and eager to get the matches started.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following a warm welcome by referee Pauline Jeffreys the number 1s headed out to do battle folloowed by The 2s 3s 4s and 5s.\u00a0 It was fantastic so see the <\/span>large contingent of supporters for both teams keeping a respectful distance from the play.\u00a0<\/span>All matches were played in the spirit of the game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Murrumbidgee reversed the match played the previous week to take home the Cup 4 games to 1.\u00a0 It is interesting to note that t<\/span>hree of the matches went to 17th and 18th holes.\u00a0 \u00a0A very close tussle indeed.\u00a0 Congratulations to Murrumbidgee for winning back to back Bruce Cup finals.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
