The Veterans Day was held yesterday at Goulburn.  It was raining in the ACT however when we arrived at Goulburn it was high cloud and quite pleasant by comparison.  So the hardy field of 62 commenced the shot gun start.  It was not long before the weather came in and the conditions for golf can only be described as horrendous!!  Very strong wind accompanied with rain and sleet AND a very low temperature.  Not conducive to good golf.  In fact the highest score was 35 points.  All participants were rugged up, beanies, neck warmers and the like but to no avail.  We all froze!!!!  The Vets winner was Sue-Ellen Langbean from Goulburn.  Full results are here:
