The Bruce cup final was held at Burns Belconnen golf course, Sunday 27 April. The weather was cool and dry apart from a few sprinkles early on. The course was in great condition. The final was played between last year’s winners Murrumbidgee and undefeated for this season Gunghalin Lakes
Gunghalin Lakes took out the match with a 3-2 win. The number one pairing of young guns Sophia Chau and Claire Brooker went down to the wire finishing on the 21st hole – Claire 1 up. The matches were all played in the spirit of the game with lots of laughter after the event.
