Claire Brady, from Royal Canberra, made amazing progress, cutting her handicap by 17 shots — from 43 down to 25. She wins the Most Improved Junior Trophy – awarded for most strokes lost.

Soda Ellis, from Royal Canberra, slashed her handicap from 11 to 6 — she was awarded the Junior Percentage Medal – awarded to the player who has lost the most percentage shots – 46% – a player who is at single figures and may only drop one or two shots but the degree of difficulty doing so at this level is harder, therefore a percentage of shots dropped is calculated.

The Most Improved Junior Trophy, established in 2003, has a proud history, with previous recipients representing 11 golf clubs across the Central Southern District.
