The final Women’s Open Day for 2025 was at Gold Creek Country Club, 23 November. It swung into action with 37 eager players across two Divisions ready for a shotgun start, players relished the crisp morning air, fresh from a night of heavy rain. The best news? Those waterlogged bunkers were out of play—talk about a water hazard dodged! The day’s shining stars included Sophia Chau from Federal snagging Best Overall Winner, Jolie McLoughlin from Gungahlin Lakes taking Div 1 Best Nett Winner, and Bev Sims from Murrumbidgee Country Club nabbing Div 2 Best Stableford.
