CSGA Opening Day at Gungahlin Lakes drew a bumper field of 118 players, with golfers travelling from across the region to launch the season in style. Despite the heat, the course buzzed with energy as players embraced a full day of competition, camaraderie, and impressive scoring.
Fabulous prizes and a long list of awards capped off the event, celebrating standout performances across all divisions. The headline moment belonged to Lauren Stensrud (Queanbeyan), who claimed the prestigious Champion of Champions Trophy with a composed and consistent round.
Division titles were also tightly contested, with Megan Everest (Yowani) securing Champion Division 2, and Pauline Brocklehurst (Royal Canberra) taking out Champion Division 3.
