Our Annual Championships were held at Murrumbidgee and Belconnen.
A total of 57 players over 9 clubs played in the Championships with conditions that were challenging thanks to the very wet winter Canberra has experienced.
The sun did however shine on Day 1 at Murrumbidgee with a mix of clubs taking home the daily prizes. The weather was not as favourable on Day 2 for our round at Belconnen but the players persisted regardless. They seem to take the conditions in their stride and the CSGA were able to run the championships in it’s full format for the first time in three years. It was great to get back to what was the ‘norm’ with our golfing events.
