The Bruce Cup final between Gungahlin Lakes and Federal Golf Club was contested today, 12 April at Queanbeyan Golf Club, with players enjoying favourable conditions for what proved to be a closely fought match.
The contest was tightly balanced across all pairings, resulting in several narrow finishes. Two matches were so evenly contested that they required extra holes to determine a winner, creating a thrilling atmosphere for spectators as momentum shifted repeatedly.
In the end, Gungahlin Lakes secured victory, defeating a determined Federal side 3.5 to 1.5. The win marks their second consecutive Bruce Cup title, a notable achievement for the club.
Congratulations are extended to the Gungahlin Lakes team on their success, and to both teams for an excellent display of competitive spirit and sportsmanship.
