Last Sunday saw the Bruce Cup final being played at Belconnen Golf Club. The autumn day was picture perfect, The course was in great condition and the battle was on between ‘incumbant’ Queanbeyan defending their Bruce Cup with tenacity and good sportsmanship against Federal. The battle was won and golf was the winner with the display of some outstanding golf. Queanbeyan were once more the winners of this highly sought after Bruce Cup. It is the ‘sixth’ year in a row for Queanbeyan who truly have amazing golfers and depth in their club. An outstanding effort.
